WEA Men’s Learning Programme Advisory Group

WEA tutors

Howard Croft (WM) and I have been working on a project which will develop approaches and curriculum resources to increase the number of men involved in adult learning.   As you may know, men make up less than 30% of WEA students and in some subjects this % drops to single digits.    

We have established an East / West Midlands virtual advisory group to ensure that the voices and experiences of men inform how the project develops.   We would like the advisory group to include tutors, core staff, volunteers, trustees and students.   It was agreed on the first call to open the group to women colleagues with views and experience of work in this area.   If you would like to join the advisory group and/or are willing to feed your views and experiences into programme development please complete the survey below.
